Overview

Waterfowl tracts in North Central Missouri are always in short supply, especially tracts within the region known as the Golden Triangle. This 100 acre farm is located on the south bank of the Missouri River and the center of the triangle's major impoundment areas, Grand Pass, the Dalton Cutoff and Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge. The tract is also a mere 2.5 miles downriver from the mouth of the well know Wakenda Creek watershed and 2 miles from the Miami Access ramp to the Missouri River. The current owner has installed a steel pit blind in the 4.5 acre pool that is getting ready to be flooded. Just off the east side of the shallow pool, is an additional 4.5 acre deep hole.
