The area is quiet, without much car traffic, and there are several parks within just a few blocks. The area has a neighborhood feel and a unique history visible - the neighbors themselves are friendly, with many young couples and lots of dogs (the nearby Fuller Dog Park is a great attraction I am sure). Geographically the location is ideal - besides easy access to the city, if the mountains are calling, getting on to I-70 is no problem just a few minutes to the north. The house itself is charming, comfortable, and roomy. The high ceilings lend it spaciousness, and the original touches give it historical charm. The solid brick construction is sturdy and keeps things quiet - we've never heard the neighbors through the walls. The outdoor space is great for hosting BBQs, and with the layout it is an easy trip back into the kitchen for supplies. New opportunities abroad are sadly taking us away from Denver - otherwise, we'd stay here in Whittier in a heartbeat!
